Join Center Women Present!
We are a VOLUNTEER community initiative through the San Francisco LGBT Community Center and need you to help put our ideas into action! We host monthly events including film nights, panels with local organizers and political figures, self-defense workshops, game nights, dating events, and art gatherings. All events are on a sliding scale; no one is turned away for lack of funds.
If you have any interest in community organizing, social justice, event planning, advertising, fundraising, outreach, collaborating, facilitating, volunteering at events, meeting other queer women in the Bay Area, having fun or all of the above; and/or if you simply want more information, please use our Contact Us page with subject Get Involved!
Volunteer commitment is typically 2-4 hours a week on average, but can be less or more depending on your interest. Find out more about us here!
Volunteer meet ‘n’ greet
If you are interested in becoming a Center Women Present volunteer, want to find out more information, and/or meet some of the steering committee, then join us for a volunteer meet up on Saturday January 30th from 5-6 PM in room 301 of the SF LGBT Community Center (Market and Octavia).
