Want to be part of CREATING the Bay Area women’s community that you WANT?
Join Center Women Present!
We are a VOLUNTEER community initiative through the San Francisco LGBT Community Center and need you to help put our ideas into action! We host monthly events including film nights, panels with local organizers and political figures, self-defense workshops, game nights, dating events, and art gatherings. All events are on a sliding scale; no one is turned away for lack of funds.
If you have any interest in community organizing, social justice, event planning, advertising, fundraising, outreach, collaborating, facilitating, volunteering at events, meeting other queer women in the Bay Area, having fun or all of the above; and/or if you simply want more information, please use our Contact Us page with subject Get Involved!
Volunteer commitment is typically 2-4 hours a week on average, but can be less or more depending on your interest. Find out more about us here!

Come join us Saturday, April 10, 2:30-5:30pm at the Center for a free spoken word performance by some amazing queer artists.
We’ve got Kimberly Dark from Hawai”i, Ivan Coyote from Vancouver, and Lex from Santa Cruz flying in to rock out the afternoon! A snack bar will be available. We 
anticipate lots of laughter and fabulous queers.
Come join in the fun!
There will also be 
a photography exhibit by Chelsea Rae Klein.
